Neither of which is the same version. And "higher" is not a thing in regards to BIOS versions. Newer maybe. But newer does not necessarily mean "better", or more compatible...or what-the-heck-ever you're thinking with that line of reasoning.
You might have more luck adding a UEFI GOP module to your current BIOS. Provided you know exactly what you're doing. Specifically with flashing a mobile GPU BIOS. Adding the UEFI GOP module should be a trivial affair.
