EDIT: April 16, 2022:
Rented a UT2004 server for a month to test it out!!!
It is a public server.
Name on the server is: TPU-UT2004
IP address is: 108.61.104.100
You can add that IP address in your favorites within the game to make it easier to find.
It has been a ton of years since messing with UT server settings, so if anyone knows how, shoot me a PM and I'll get you set to log into the server to adjust settings.
If someone knows how, we could set up preferred maps, game types, etc...
I just rented a server in Atlanta Georgia for now just to test. It is easy, and free, to change locations if we find ping times are bad.

So, during a small conversation on the thread about the new Unreal 5 Engine, myself and @Anoniem started talking about firing up a TPU Unreal Tournament server.
How many of us TPU members still fire up a UT game now and then?
What version, IE UT, UT2003, or UT2004, do you play?
Would making a TPU UT server interest you?
I think both @Anoniem and myself have all of the above.
If this sounds like fun, post here with interest and which version you would prefer to see as a TPU server?
Here is my latest post as of 04/13/22 about 8:45PM US MDT

Since these are some nostalgic/vintage games, the servers are cheap as heck. LOL
We can get either game for $0.79 per slot for private servers on either game server. I would imagine that we would want to go with a private server.
UT2004
Game Servers : Server Hosting & Rental
www.gameservers.com
UT99
Game Servers : Server Hosting & Rental
www.gameservers.com
Heck, we can do a 20 player private server for $15.95USD per month.
Dang, that's cheap as hell.
I guess the next thing would be to figure out where to have it located?
They have 9 locations in the US along with UK, Italy, Australia, and several other locations.
I see currently that UT99 is leading with 17 votes and UT2004 has 15 votes.
This is looking very promising going forward.
This server would be up 24/7 as well.
I'm not that great at setting up game servers, so I would want to give someone with more knowledge admin rights to the server to control the games and what not....
