I'm selling a card on ebay, & a buyer wanted a screenshot of the gpu z interface with the system date & time available. Is this a normal thing for checking that the gpu is legit or can someone use this information to defraud me in some way?

It's not an unreasonable request, because it will show them the specs of the card. The fact that you can produce this screenshot for them confirms that you have ownership of the card
