when upgrading a psu what do i need? i do not have a 8 pin on my motherboard like i see on some i got a AMD 970 MOBO with a 20 and 4 pin where the psu plugs into thats just my stock 460 watts psu that i have now.

any advice, i like the corsair series PSU's they have the RM,HX,AX and the CS models whats the differents
