Now this has nothing to do with you shouldn't use it.

The question is, can it be possible to use 2 450w. power supplies for 1 graphics card, so you use 1 8pins from each power supply for 1 graphics card, the graphics card has 2 8-pins.

or maybe it all goes up in smoke

No dont do that what are your system specs so we could recommend a decent psu for your system.

It doesn't have much to do with what's in the computer, graphics cards, cpu and other.

It's actually just to know if it presents an electrical problem.

I would NEVER use it myself in my own system.

It can be used, I just found this one here on youtube.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)

Thermaltake used to make auxiliary PSUs that fit into the 5.25" drive bay. It was to offer the option of keeping your original PSU, but adding a smaller one just to power your GPU.

I will try this sometime in the next two months to see is there any benefit in two PSU.

Assuming you have a quality PSU with enough amps/watts in the first place, how could there be any benefit? This seems to add more complexity to something that is pretty basic to begin with. While doing this isn't rocket science, it behooves an overwhelming majority of users to simply buy the right capacity and connectors, no?

I Iike experimenting. All my PSU are Platinum or Titanium class 800w+ & are fairly new & have been sitting doing nothing for the past 1 year+. I may as well do something with them.

All below are spare, no more than 6hrs used.

Seasonic 1200w Platinum

Seasonic 850w Titanium

Silverstone 800w SFX Titanium

Cool... but, with your already solid knowledge of all things electrical, what benefits do you think this can bring, using two PSUs instead of one?

You could do it, but the problem is if both power supplies don't come up within a few dozen milliseconds of each other.

IF I were going to use 2 PSU's, I'd do one for the mobo and all, and one for the Video card.

Having the video card with 2 PSU's is asking for trouble; if one backfeeds the other, the second one to come up won't come up at all, in the best case.
In the worst case, it will mis regulate the output voltage, blow all the caps off, and fry the board.

The only big problem is that you want the grounds to the two PSU's to be well connected to each other; any voltage drops between grounds are going to be a problem.

I'd buy a bigger PSU, personally.
