been trying to find 3090 for some months now and prices have gone up or hasnt come down for some time

2 cards have come up at tempting prices of around $200 that means it could hold me off a bit till things start slowing down

the 2080 ti is a blower card though.PNY from some editing pc. no gaming. ill use it to lear video editing and some gaming at 1440p

waiting for more info on the 4060.

from performance pov, the 2080ti seems to be a significant jump

not interested in amd currently and all prices for used are more ridiculous then any nvidia I see.

The 2080Ti is a better card in pretty much every way except for power consumption and (if you even care) lack of support for FG.

Still can do FG with AMD FSR FG and/or Lossless Scaling.

I'd only care for power and the size. 2080 Ti is a league of its own compared to 4060:

Also having 11 GB, it's much less prone to failures in VRAM-expensive games.
