Using software on second monitor

I added a second monitor to my PC laptop. I have them split. I use my digitizing software on the large monitor and my Coreldraw on my PC. when I create an Image and save it to my document folder, then go to my large screen with my digitizing software try to Place image in there I cannot find it in my document folder on 2nd monitor.
