I dunno about you, but this probably means a huge wave of adult VR games will actually appear on Steam. Like WSS or Honey Select.

Personally I like this. Gamers decide with their wallet which developer to support. Also kudos to valve for not giving in to the toxic SJW/PC culture that is running rampant these days.

Discussion boards for each game are some of the nastiest and mean-spirited “discussions” I have seen. Runner up would be the wave of negative reviews almost every game gets these days (many times unwarranted, even if just small bugs), almost as if it is organized.

The term SJW is generally used by insecure white men to detract from their own inadequacies. Like InCel puppies and Alt-Right mummy boy types (frankly the most fragile creatures on the planet). I love to tea-bag my foes, kill downed enemies and fell for the chicks in The Witcher 3, yet, I'd still say I'm all for Social Justice. Nothing wrong with opposing inequalities driven by prejudice and oppression.

I am sure they will allow similar games though. Thats effectively what is being said, anything is okay. End user can just filter what they don't like.

That situation had me conflicted. If the developer created the game purely to troll people ,than I 100% agree with them banning the dev, & removing the game. What I don't agree with, is if they removed it, and banned the developer because the subject matter was in poor taste (Which it clearly was), that feels too much like censorship to me. although knowing which is which is a slippery slope, i just HATE censorship. that story bothered me, until i heard it was all a jerks idea of a joke.

This is why (In my opinion), the law should be the law, black and white, no interpretations (as much as possible). Since it is often societies opinion that wins out, or persuades outcomes. Which is also why social justice is a mockery of justice. The miniute you modify a word, you deviate from the meaning of that word. Justice is justice, but social justice is the rule of the loudest, which, only a fool would agree is a good idea.

I believe everyones opinion matters, the moment a person thinks they hold the key to what is or isnt "approved speech" is the moment youve become a self appointed dictator. i dont pretend to know who's opinion is or isnt "sharing worthy", so i am of the opinion, that everyone deserves that right.

Not sure if your referring to my comment, but if so, im not offended, i was merely pointing out the irony of someone saying they support the fight against prejudice ,while slipping a racially (stereotyped, or specific) comment into their post. to a lot of people on twitter and FB, its not racist if everyone in your friends list agrees with you, so convenient


im gonna bow out, as im sure all these posts will be removed, even though they have more substance than the last 3 months of posts on this site put together. nowadays on TPU, all the real conversations have to happen in PM or not at all.

Right, I agree that is an issue. My point is more the quantity of poor taste games that could be launched on the platform which the developers will say "just trolling".
