The Verbatim Store'n'Go Clip-it series won the Red Dot Design Award in 2010, as it caters to a very specific scenario and is surprisingly useful. Due to the shape, it is intended to replace the classic paper clip, bringing it into the 21st century.

"Still more expensive than a CD"..

Well, of course it is.. CDs only have 650MB and, they're about 50x the size and most of them are not re-writeable.

You can't compare it to 20 year-old technology.

True, but that will suffice or most purposes as a "one way" product...but even a normal DVD-R or dual layer DVD is cheaper ^^. Heck a 25GB BD-R sells for around 2 USD in Europe ^^.

Wow!

I had no idea. I remember looking just one year ago and seeing a single BD for 5$ or more.

I actually bought some..

But still, you have to consider that one 32GB flash drive can be equivalent to an infinite amount of BDs, and is MUCH smaller, even in the regular form factor,

So, it's simply not comparable.
