Hello everyone, I'm having a problem that bothers me a lot, whenever I put the Graphics in the middle or at most simply the lcd screen of my computer to receive video signal. when this started to occur I thought it was the motherboard or memories, even video driver I have already used three different versions that I could find, but with no effect whatsoever.
After doing some research I thought it was temperature, although it passed the continuous test of FullMark, which intrigues me. I reduced the GPU and memory clock using the MSI Afterburner and in some games this did not happen for my happiness.
In my previous research I could see that the GPU-Z monitors and saves a GPU log (temperature, voltage, clock ...). In the log as soon as the problem occurred it saved and the values are inrreais in my point of view but indicates that something happened, or not, well I do not know why I came to ask for help from someone more experienced that I.
For months now this has not happened (with the lowest clocks) and recently I downloaded Game Portal 2 to play it and I came across the same problem under the lowest clocks: here the oldest and most recent log last:

https://pastebin.com/raw/icGFVhKL
https://pastebin.com/raw/rvsY623p

Now I suspect my Power Supply (it does not have a PFC ACTIVE and key to change the operating voltage), but I wanted the choice of an expecialista or that has the experience.

Forgive my English is very poor and as you can see I use a translator "I hope I explained it very well!".

Regards,
Gabriel Cello

WTH even is a Hoopson o_O:laugh: I suspect it might be this also, it's basically a P4 era 300w (26a x 12) PSU that probably can't even output that safely. Also it's not a switching power supply are you sure you have the switch on the back of it set to the correct voltage for your country? (110/220v)

I'm running a bronze EVGA 500W in one of my servers 24/7. Bought it from a friend a while back, it's a solid PSU. But I always tend to go with Seasonic if i can.

Thanks to all of you are very nice, as I live in Brazil I do not have many options the BRL is devalued and what fits in my budget now is the Corsair VS 400w.

I use Corsair which are very reliable in my experience

Which of the following would you say is true over the years ?

a) Corsair makes great PSUs
b) Corsair makes good PSUs
c) Corsair makes average PSUs
d) Corsair makes crappy PSUs

It's a trick question ... you could swap out the brand name an insert most any other PSU vendor and the answer is the same ... e) all of the above. Corsair doesn't "make" anything. They provide design input to OEMs who then build units which Corsair can sell in various markets. So they procure and sell PSUs to several market niches in which they compete ... just like most other vendors.

http://orionpsudb.com/corsair

The white is VS series PSU tho not the one listed at above link (CP-9020009) ... and while CWT also made some of Corsair's best PSUs, the VS series is "bottom end" ..... but it's of worthy note that none of the 15 or so well known review sites focusing on PSUs has ever bothered to review a VS series PSU. The capacitors used are considered "low quality" and the voltage regulation is "within spec". But that's not really a compliment for a gaming PC .. the ATX spec allows 5% variation for a gaming PC, I look for 1.5 % and for overclocking prefer to be under 1%. The VS450 sees 2.25 to 2.83% in **cold testing**. CWT made three different models all of which are now discontinued, one had two 12 volt rails (CP-9020009) the other two had single rail (CP-9020049) and (CP-9020096) and these two were rated at 40C.

The model in question here however (CP-9020170-NA) is made by HEC, which is primarily a "low budget build'"PSU supplier. It also has not as yet been reviewed by any of the top 15 "go to" review sources .... at least none showing the the database. Don't know which platform it's built on. HEC made EVGAs 500B which was one of the few EVGA units that didn't fare so well in reviews. Also made the OCZ CoreXtreme. This new White Corsair VS450 made by HEC is only rated at 30C and has not as yet been 80 Plus certified (pending)

https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/500B/11.html
https://www.kitguru.net/components/power-supplies/zardon/ocz-power-supply-roundup/6/

As noted above, all the CWT models have been discontinued; the only non discontinued VS450 noted by the OP is the VS Series™ VS450 — 450 Watt 80 PLUS® White Certified PSU is SKU CP-9020170-NA which is made by HEC.

Hello everyone, today I purchase the PSY PCYES Electro v2 400w 80 Plus White, it was not the Corsair VS-400, but I believe this one from PCYES is more superior to that of Corsair in question.
NOTE: My opinion is based on tests from the same YouTube channel that I posted a video on a previous response.

Image of the new PSU label:
thumbnail_IMG_20190313_234720.jpg

Nothing has changed in the log:
https://pastebin.com/raw/GT6Nv5nK

I'm starting to make sure it's the VGA CARD, however I do not know what tests I can do anymore, the VGA gets no shutdowns at FullMark for almost 1 hour!
A friend of mine recommended that I install the Heaven Benchmark and take the test.
I'll do it here to see if anything changes, I'll also test the game in question with technologies turned on and off, such as tessellation, anti aliasing ... to see if anything changes.

NOTE: The motherboard is not because I had already changed and this already happened in the one I used before the exchange.

What I can not understand is this log.

Again thanks to all who are helping me!

Nothing has changed in the log:

Ugh, psu is meh, im out

I do not quite understand, what you mean, this source is 1000% better than the hoopson, and the Corsair VS-400 has practically the same power. My whole body does not consume 300w.
