Want zero idle fan speed on a 1050 Ti AERO ITX OC (no power connectors) - safe to flash VBIOS of model which has power connectors? Or any other sugg.

This is the model I'd like to turn down the fan speed of whenever it's idle, currently it only goes down to 35%. Someone on reddit said that the most important things to keep consistent when flashing across models are the power connectors and display ports - it has no power connector:

MSI states that the only MSI cards which support this fan feature (branded as "Zero Frozr") are their GAMING and ARMOR series. The display ports of this GAMING model (which supports zero fan speed), are identical, but it has a 6-pin power connector. How safe would it be to flash this VBIOS?

Alternatively, Zotac calls this feature "Freeze", but I also haven't found any Zotac models which both support this, and have no power connectors.

If anyone could recommend another VBIOS model, or something else I could do to override the minimum fan speed, that would be awesome. Maybe even some piece of hardware which controls the fan separately, or replacing the fans with ones that are controllable? These threads [1] [2] mention "low-noise adapter" cables, which seem relevant. My motherboard is a B350 Tomahawk.

Thanks

Open gpu-z and click the black arrow next to the uefi checkbox, attempt to upload the bios through GPU-Z to the VGA Bios Collection/Data base (do not upload to chis thread) you may receive a pop up stating bios is already in collection with a link, copy and paste link here please, I want to see some info on it.

From what i see the gpu is designed that way to preven damage to the card from overheating

So If you still insist get a variable resistor and control fans manually

Hey, thanks for replying. I had to go through a few different versions of GPU-Z on this Windows 7 PC until I was able to export the VBIOS (most versions gave me the error "BIOS reading is not supported on this device", or just outright BSOD-ed), but version 2.28.0 worked. Here's a duplicate of the VBIOS that I have:
And for comparison, this appears to be a VBIOS of that GAMING model.
