So this was the same thing I covered before. A very portable but super good DNA/RNA sequencing machine based on nanopore tech. Just doing some small genome reads. And holy cow it brought my system to a crawling speed in no time. And this is still just running half of the workload on my PC ===> Interfacing, RAW data gathering and DNA base calling. All the rest of the sequence quality control and etc are done over cloud server in UK. And to think this small DNA/RNA sequencer is only supposed to work with PC, makes you wonder whether a Threadripper 16c32t should be standard for such workloads.
