Weird ASUS laptop issue!

Hi. I have a strange issue with my ASUS Vivobook laptop. The issue started when it stopped booting some time ago, out of the blue. It still powered on but no picture. I tried several remedies, including removing the battery, which seemed to have fixed the issue. The laptop now worked (powered on and booted). Fast forward a few weeks, I ordered a new battery (as I assumed the original one was faulty), installed it and no boot again. Honestly, I'm lost. Any idea what might be the issue? Thanks.

What Vivobook is it? Is there any bios/firmware update from ASUS for your model?

Also, for troubleshooting: when it doesn't boot, can you enter the bios menu? If yes, does your boot drive show up in the boot options?

It is the R565JA. It is not possible to enter the BIOS unfortunately.

Doesn't it even post, for you to be able to enter the UEFI menu (ESC or F2, I think)?
Also, you did mention swapping the battery. Did you take a look at the voltage of the CMOS battery (CR2032) inside?

Can you hook an external monitor up to it?

Hi. Thanks for your responses. As mentioned earlier, when the battery is installed, it does not post. Therefore entering the BIOS or hooking up an external monitor is not an option.
