I just wanted to get an idea of what video cards you guys are using from the 4 series. I have an Asus tuf 4080 super overclock video card. I don't undervolt or overclock it at all. I don't see the need. It works completely and totally fine enough for me to probably skip over the Five series entirely. Do you guys overclock or undervolt your four series card? What kind of performance do you get in your games? I play 4K at Max settings on 120 hertz LG C2 display and I have no issues with the games that I play. But then again I don't play cyberpunk and play a lot of games from the 90s. Do you guys like your video card?

It looks like people are buying up 4 series cards for some reason before the 5 series drops. I don't understand why though. Wouldn't people just wait to buy the 5 series that's coming out? Instead of snapping up the current stock?

Have a 4070 Super, made a thread it feels like too much card for my uses. Run it stock mostly with the exception of benchmarking it. Seems to fair well, nabs 3ghz boost clocks rather easily. Memory clocks OK also. Is an MSI Ventus 3. Cyber Punk't 1080P 144hz whatever settings I want, all games really. Going to upgrade to 1440P real soon though.

4070 Super cost me about 600$ US.
5070 projected to be 800$ US.

When to become sane? After gone broke buying NV card every year XD.

I don't touch the voltage on my 4070Ti, I just increased its power limits to the mighty +10 lol

That gets me just over 3GHz core and +1500 on the mems.

ASUS Strix OC White RTX 4080. Original non-Super version. My daily settings are 3030 MHz core and set the memory to the same clock as the RTX 4080 Super (which is basically raising it from 1400 to 1438 MHz - the chips are the same), effectively has the same performance as a stock 4080S, doesn't require an overvolt, increased fan speed or anything. Seamless.

Evaluating options to get the 5090 as soon as possible though. I don't like the way exchange rate and import policies are going with the Lula administration here in Brazil, the USD already reached over 6 Brazilian Real and we're going to get taxed mercilessly next year - governments announced an increase in the goods and services tax which will land simultaneously with the first year of transition towards a VAT model. Which will be the highest in the world, to the tune of ~28.5%. Tax load is going to be high, I'm hoping to get one purchased before April 2025.

4070 Super. Does a really decent job at 1440p, even with Path tracing when I use Dlss+fg, but I will be looking at 5070Ti once that's out. Got a 1000eur budget, would buy a 4080S now if blackwell wasnt so close. Using UV, card tops at 150W.
