I just remembered Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason. One of the earlier game that use PhysX extensively and for good measure. This is also taxing for GPU at the time like Crysis and Metro2033 but it's a less known game but I loved it, love the game story, love the graphics and definitely love how they implement PhysX. Seeing ice melted and room heated up is a visual treat.

Ace Combat 4. I haven't played it in ages even though I still have a PS/2. I think the Ace Combat series really caught on with that particular release.
Ace Combat 2 was the one for me. That Game was revolutionary in size and Mission type.

Same. I remember being blown away as a young lad with ace combat 2, and for some reason i skipped 3? no idea why, but again blown away when 4 came out, then i lost touch with the series after that. i have 7 on steam, but haven't played it yet

I started with 3, that game totally blow me away from graphics and story. Haven't touch anything older. Maybe I should give 2 a try. Played Ace Combat series ever since, except for consoles I haven't got. AC7 is mid IMO, it's good but nothing mindblowing. Story is big meh.

If you enjoy math and playing incremental games like Factorio, I found Beltmatic to be pretty fun.

I had no idea so many people couldn't tolerate Tidus. I had zero problems with him. He may have been no Zidane, but I think he was fantastic for what the story was.
On my part, it was that I watched Spoony's multi-part review of the game long before I ever played it (quite funny BTW). It unfortunately colored my perceptions of Tidus and the game.

But I say to those that enjoy the game, more power to you!
