I am trying to build or assemble and new PC but can't find a GPU! What the fudge is going on? Anywhere I look everything is out of stock. I was looking to get Radeon 7900xtx and then 7900xt but all of the are out of stock.

Since the 9070 XT is a regression vs. the 7900 XTX (less performance less memory etc.) and Deepseek R1 runs well on it, all stock they had ended up bought.

Right now it's a bad time to buy a graphics card, AMD's delays on 9070, extreme stock pressure on Ada stack and RX 7900 series, low launch supply of Blackwell, and Intel doesn't seem to have any Arc cards supplied... yep it's a mess

Yeah it's dumb. Last time I learned the hard way never buy a GPU in Feb.
The one I picked was 2x MSRP, outlived its purpose and fell out of favor after a year.
This is the month of spring cleaning and that means the 7000 stock AMD wanted gone, gets gone.
Whether they come back in or not is up to the people that already bought them.
9000 series is inbound the next 20-40 days and it's staged to be a HUGE thing.
So that's what we get for now. Try not to get scammed.

Hey, I’ve seen this movie before! What was it called… something-something crypto? Well, I am sure it’s nothing and we will get healthy supply any week now.
