Hello guys, I thought these RAM's could be good options that are compatible with my motherboard and offer "EXPO" support. Which one do you think I should prefer, or do you have any other recommendations? Thank you.

MOTHERBOARD:Gigabyte B650 M K REV:1.1
CPU:Ryzen 5 7600

KF560C36BBEAK2-32 Kingston 16x2 6000mhz CL36

Thanks, buddy, some of my friends mention Kingston, and it's really confusing me about the RAM situation

All kind of filters there.

For Ryzen 7600 I'd go with 6000 with tightest timings that don't break your budget.

I'm a Kingston user for more than 15 years, didn't had any issues with them so far.

I would take a look at the RAM-QVl of the mainboard and select according to them. With that one can be sure that the RAM works with the given speed and timings on the board.

I made my choice based on that list, but I still had some doubts, and saying that eased my mind thx. I think I'll go with G.Skill.Gskill Even though the CL value is 2 higher, they have RGB lights :D

Hi,
Gskill make it easy to find their qvl list they've tested boards on that's why I love gskill to

RMA wise I've never had any issues I own 3 sets 4000c16/ 3600c16/ 3200c14 ddr4.

If the G.Skill kit is listed on your motherboard's QVL you should be fine.

That Corsair one does have the tightest timings of the bunch though...
If it's on the QVL too it's certainly an option (no idea what the prices are for you).

The cheapest one is Corsair, then there's a +$10 difference with G.Skill,(My country price). Since Corsair doesn't have RGB, I thought I'd go for G.Skill. :D

The corsair kit is also running at 1.4V vs the G.Skill at 1.35V so I'm not sure if those sticks are actually better or if they are just pushing the voltage more.

Nothing wrong with kingston, just in this case among the kits you linked it's the slowest. CL36 was bottom of the barrel for DDR5 6000 kits even at Ryzen 7000 series launch.

Honestly if that's the pricing situation either is fine. I personally lean towards G.Skill just because I've never had an issue with them and they are great overclockers (for me at least, can't speak for others).

Thanks for your answers.I'm going to buy G.Skill in a little while. To be honest, I've been wanting the G.Skill from the beginning. :D

My friends.Apart from that changing profiles, are there any other BIOS settings I need to adjust after installing these MEMORY?

All you have to do is enabled the EXPO profile, everything else will be automatically set like timings and voltage. Your motherboard will also adjust other memory related settings (like FCLK, SOC Voltage, IOD voltage, ect) when you enable your EXPO profile as well.

Close. The FLCK won't change and stays at 2000 Mhz unless you manually set it.

Hi,
Gigabyte site would be fine.
Dark team is a good suggestion I'm not sure what type of qvl they have or if gigabyte site shows it ?

Hi,
Just xmp profile options for a bit better performance.

Ever... touched base on it earlier maybe he can add more context.

If they're at the same price, go with the one with lower latency. Otherwise, it doesn't matter, in my opinion.

I never said it would change the FCLK, I said it would set it. My X670e Taichi sets the FCLK to 2000 when I enabled EXPO while the default is auto. Regardless of whether auto ends up being the same 2000 or not, the BIOS is still setting that when EXPO is enabled which is precicely what I said it would do. Not all motherboards will adjust all the same values of course. It is not an uncommon practice to set values even if they are the same as auto in order to eliminate variables.

Hi guys.AM5 BIOS: Low Latency Support, XMP/EXPO High Bandwidth Support? What's this?Does anyone know this

These are just more aggressive memory settings offered on Gigabyte AM5 motherboards. All the big motherboard vendors have their own variation under different names. Low latency support will lower memory subtimings while high bandwidth support will push up the memory speed.

Just note that those features are considered overclocking outside the parameters of your EXPO / XMP profile and therefore are not guaranteed to work. I'd recommend sticking with just EXPO enabled unless you want to dip your toes into overclocking memory.

It's always "set" to 2000 regardless if EXPO/XMP is enabled unless you manually change it. ALL AM5 motherboard will have this at 2000. Some MBs don't even say auto anymore and instead says 2000 because that is default.

Yes my point was that some motherboards, like mine, will set FCLK to 2000 in addition to other things. I'm well aware the default is 2000, that doesn't change the fact that the motherboard is still changing it from auto to 2000 as displayed in the BIOS. At this point you are essentially gatekeeping what defines "setting", which is not productive and doesn't help the OP.

No I'm trying not to confuse the OP as FLCK is not defined by the EXPO/XMP data. Neither is the SoC voltage for that matter. But it doesn't matter really. You explained it well enough
