EVGA all the way. Those FTW3 cards are amazing and Ventus cards from MSI are known to have cooling issues.

Had both models (not 3080 ti) and my vote goes to EVGA FTW3 easily.
It will have a much better heatsink, much better build quality and lower thermals even on the vram.

Sure keep the evga, it has higher memory boost clock (1725 vs 1800)
It uses more power though
If you want to refund more money, perhaps selling evga is better haha

You get what you pay for. MSI makes great cards, just don't go for the cheapest versions. This is not applicable to MSI either, EVGA makes some budget cards with not so great cooling either. Just like other brands do.
I do admit that MSI likes to exaggerate, but on the other hand if you don't care, because you just want the card to watercool, to strap some noctuas, because you're case is an industrial wind tunner, because you're just a cheap bastard, etc.. people can get good performance for less money. Personally i think it's not worth it, but many disagree, they just buy the best gpu on the cheapest card and that's fine.

Yeah, get a cheap card and overclock it with water....
But when u have two cards already and want to decide which one to keep.
Some cards have custom bios and allow insane overclocking, while others have less than 3x8 pins (such as ventus)
