Will my build have any bottleneck if I upgrade just my GPU?

Hey guys I’d love some help on this as my current build has a R7 3700X with a 2060 6gb and I was looking into upgrading my GPU to the 5070 at some point but I’m afraid of wasting the money if my build will bottleneck. Any information or advice would help alot thank you

Yes, it will.
But more important question is, do you plan replace platform in mid-term (ie. in 2025) ?
Having slower CPU for now should be fine, until getting ca$h for platform change.
However if you need over half year to get to new platform (after buying 5070), I'd suggest thinking REALLY hard about 5070, and if getting something slower from previous gen - isn't better option (since that should allow you to get newer platform faster).

PS. You didn't mention your MB (which pretty much allows a cheap upgrade path to X3D AM4 CPU), so I can't recommend that (since your board may not support it without additional steps).

There will be a bottleneck, yes. -but, it will still be a noticeable uplift.

IMHO, look for a 5700X3D.
<$200 inside The States, $107-150ish from Aliexpress.

Definitely will be a CPU bottleneck, though still a big uplift in performance at the same time, so will be much better than with your 2060, you really need to slap in a 5700x3D to get the most out of that platform without having to completely rebuild to an AM5/modern Intel system, also no system specs to go off, no resolution, no examples of games you play, if you're playing MS XP pinball you will be fine bro, we're not fortune tellers
