Will TS work for my Intel Core i7-13620H 13th Gen?

I really want to lower the power consumption but I get "Not Available" in FIVR
I already tried disabling VBS Core Isolation and the Windows features for it
Is it just not possible for my laptop to be undervolted or something so that it isnt cooking scrambled eggs?

My temps go to 70-75c and that's only after using Armor Crate to "turn off" some performance and efficient cores
I'm also under the assumption those temps are "acceptable" but I would prefer under 70c so it doesnt feel like its melting that center spot just above the keyboard

Not Available
Intel removed CPU voltage control from their mobile H series CPUs. This feature is only available in the unlocked mobile HX series such as the 13900HX and the 14900HX.

The H series run hot, hot, hot and there is not much you can do about it.

What about the 13700HX? Also a laptop/mobile CPU
Only asking bcuz that would of been the other one I almost got
I chose this one bcuz the performance difference between GPUs was greater than between the 2 CPUs

And really, nothing on TS I can change?
I read about the speedshift n a few options in TPL but don't know what to set it to or which ones to change

try to change them PL1 and PL2. Check waht consumption it gets while gaming, for example (if you don't "work" like render etc.)
the clock is the key too. disable turbo as a final way to go. I'm pretty happy with my i7-11800H with disabled HT and Turbo (HT in BIOS, Turbo in windows by cpu min-max 99%) - I can always change power plan back to "turbo enabled" if I need that speed, but for gaming (I play Hitman 3 and GTA V) these relatively old beast gets job done even with HT off and at 2.3 GHz:peace:

Intel fully unlocks all HX processors. The problem is that some individual laptop manufacturers can decide to lock out full control of these processors. This can happen at any time. They can be locked before they are sold or they can be locked later on after a BIOS update.

I would still much rather have a HX processor. It is easy enough to run ThrottleStop after you buy a new laptop to see what features are available to you. The H series are all 100% locked. Buying a laptop with a H series CPU is kind of like buying a used lottery ticket. You are guaranteed to have lost the lottery.

Dang, so there's no guarantee that it's better but at least there's a chance
Is there no way to force unlocking on either the H CPU I have, or the HX if it turns out to be locked ?

The temp it runs at 68c-72c-76c is at least not destroying the laptop itself, apparently they're meant/built to run hot

When the manufacturer doesn't block, H CPUs can just lower the ratios, but undervolt is impossible.
