Windows annoying habit of changing folder options

Windows annoying habit of changing folder options, i like to have windows open each folder in its own window and it show filename extentions, but it constantly turns them both off every few days, is most annoying lol

any idea why it does this or how to stop it ?

just 1 of those little things that drives me nuts, itsdone it in both win 10 and 11
