Nintendo Entertainment System

Because almost all the other games I've played from the eighties sucked, even tho those other games are classics by now, and they often looked like they're fun to play.

C64, Amiga, Atari, etc, with all the games that came with them, brings a smile to my face when I see pics of them, but they weren't really that fun to play for more than five minutes.

IMO, Nintendo raised the quality of games significantly.

I don't really have a favorite console I throughly enjoyed every console I've ever owned which is almost all of them from the late 80s till now.

To me it's all about the games and almost every console has at least one exclusive I couldn't do without at least at their initial release

Maybe the Xbox/Xbox 360 was the console I had the most fun with though due to how awesome Xbox Live was.

N64. I rode my bike through a thunderstorm to pick up my episode 1 podracer edition as soon as base exchange called saying it was in. my bike chain rusted, and got an ass chewing from my mom. Totally Worth It!

I have the fondest memories with the Atari 2600 and I believe it was the first console I played on. We must have had 40+ games for it too! I think my favorite game was Dragonfire but of course my Dad was the best atit.

Second place goes to Nintendo 64. My sister and I screamed when we got one for Christmas, albeit a few years behind everyone else but at least we got it!

Too young for Atari, I'd say... though I still have the same NES I had as a kid.. the best thing ever, just after PS2.

Never owned a console, for some reason it wasn't a big thing around here where I live and grew up.
My only experience with consoles was a PS 1 and a Xbox 360 that I tried out at my friend's place like once.

Out of all my irl friends in my school years thats the only 2 I came across. :oops:
