Hi guys, I don't spend any times on forums anymore unfortunately but just ran into the 5800 utube vid and was appalled it was from Techpowerup!

That AI puppet is so atrocious I thought it was one of those Spam Bots!

I looked back at the library as I was surprised that I didn't know you guys have a channel as I lov your site and have been a big supported of Wizard over the years in various forums.

I came to the conclusion I played one of them in the past and insta put it in my block list as I do with all those AI spam bots.

I mean seriously I could not even listen to the content from this thing as it was that horrible and distracting.

It reminds me of that Will Smith eating spaghetti generated content.

Well anyway because I love this site and think it should be better represented on youtube I wrote this post.

I also noticed there are only 14k subs and that right there should be a glaring flag that this is a TOTAL FAIL.

Seriously I would rather straight up listen to a blank screen than watch that horrible AI generated content.

I think since alot of people probably already have it in their block list I would delete it completely and start from scratch.

I was apparently fooled by the voice over, Its weird we live in a world where actual people are assumed to be AI because of editing!

I still stand by the fact that that video is unwatchable as is and does ZERO justice as a forward facing high profile outlet for this Awesome site.

OK, so I went back and rewatched the vid and apparently the Voice is unsynched and thats why I thought it was AI generated.

After going past that its a good vid.

Before posting this thread I had checked the vid library and found a game video as the next to last, watched half of it and said to myself, this is not a professional channel.

Maybe splitting the game videos and reviews might not be the worst idea ever.

I have not gone back to look at the other review vids yet but assume they don't have the same weird AI looking voice lag issue.

I know enough about the Youtubes to disagree with this. TPU's channel is different, certainly, but I would not call it unprofessional. They keep things clean and unfussy. It's very good IMPO. My only real complaint is the video's that are not in widescreen format. Likely, those are few. The "phone" portrait mode is just irritating. It's YouTube, not TikTok. But I digress..

I would point to the lousy 14k subs as proof it is not.

And I'd like to point Out I insta subbed when I saw it was TechPowerUp so I would hazzard most of those subs are from people that support this site but its obvious the youtube audience is not gravitating to it and considering TechPowerUp is 1000% better than 99.9% of those tech channels with millions of subscribers then this Proves there is a problem here somewhere.

*I'd like to point out I came here and made this thread to help out the site, I want it noted I am not here trolling.

I WANT to see TechPowerUp succeed and find it disgusting that worthless channels Like LTT have millions of viewers when TPU content is So far above that brain rot.

I would point to the lousy 14k subs as proof it is not.

I mean as someone who occasionally posts to youtube, knowing 14k people care enough about homelabs and IT beyond gaming would probably make me proud.

I would probably never reach that though. Because I am not as respected as TPU or a gigantic media outlet. I also dont sensationalize literally anything like big "tech" tubers because I think saying anything but the truth or hyping garbage up is a disservice to little me 20+ years ago that truly wanted to understand how the picture got to my screen.

Comments like that amuse me. Imagine basing your entire opinion, fact, or false on a topic based on how many random strangers liked the way you screamed something on camera.

Wild.

(imma go look for the talking steak though sounds hilarious.)

TPU's own YT channel? Did you not know about it?

I did that. Couldn't figure out what they were talking about.
