Well, off to work, shortly. I felt like crap Sunday so, my boss let me go home. I rested up a bit, and Monday went well-ish. Hopefully Today will be fine. I have some 4F Immunization on Thursday, at the VA, other than that, just gonna chill (BTW the elevator was fixed on Sunday, so no more stairs, fingers crossed).:lovetpu:
Case was an absolute joy to build in as well. Though I've got my PC back up and running, I'm having issues with Windows recognizing the ROG GenZ.2 card. I bought a Gen 4 m.2 SSD for it. I can see the drive in BIOS, but it doesn't appear in Windows. Once I figure that out, shit's gonna be gravy!
Oh lawd, I'm finally back up and running! Y'all, I can't even begin to explain the shit I went thru with rebuilding my rig... One good thing to come out of it was I ended up having to buy a new case, which I've been wanting to do for awhile now anyway. I went with Corsair's 3500X barebones model (no fans) and couldn't be happier with it - even fully loaded, I can still carry/maneuver it, which is a big win for me! >>
I hope everyone had a pleasant 4th of July

Someone near me had an entire battlefield going on.

My wallet hid under my pillow at the thought.

It was cool though!

My dogs suffered terribly, but mine was alright as long as I forgot whats going on in the world.

Little breezy and Humid, today. It's projected to be 80 F at 11pm tonight! THAT is a bit unusual. Anyway, last work day this week, and I cannot wait for it to be done! I expect Wednesday to be a recovery, lazy day. Hopefully I can still manage to do a few loads of laundry. That would help me get through Thursday, easier!
Well, it is Monday. Weather looks good, Bike is running great and my apartment is a mess. I am going to dedicate some time this week, to clean up a few places. Then maybe next week another spot, and so on. Eventually I can reclaim my space, from the clutter! One battle at a time! LOL
I got up today at 6:30 am to go to the VA. got 5 holes poke in me, 2 blood labs, a covid shot and a shingles shot then an IV for the CT scan. No Cancer, Cholesterol is down. Everything points to me being healthy. Except, no energy, difficulty breathing and dramatic weight loss, including loss of muscle.

So, good news: no malignancy. Bad news: still unsure what is causing my issues. There is a possibility that my energy may improve, some, with the new dosage of thyroid medicine. Mostly unlikely. Also I am curious how the Nicotine patches will work. Hopefully it will be enough to get over the hill AND save me a bunch of moolah! That's the big update, more to follow in the coming months.

I hope the Endocrinologist finds something that helps, a woman I know has to see one about her Hyperthyroidism.
She has the opposite issue, uncontrolled weight gain despite minimal eating, regular Doctors assumed she was just lying about how much she ate. The medication she's on now is helping.
Good luck with all the tests.

The Endocrinology Dept and my Physician, went over my file together and determined my weight loss is not related, or rather, the amount of weight lossed is not related. I do have a meeting with the Neurology dept but, because they are so busy, the appointment is in August, another Month +. It'll be a struggle, but, I should survive until then.
Had an SSD die on me yesterday. :( Served me well for 9 years, not to shabby for a budget brand DRAMless drive. As a result, I'm reinstalling Windows 7 Pro on a newer SSD and configing it to my liking. :rockout:

I put one of my old OCZ 800GB SSD's in it. The drive that died was a KingSpec 720GB that I got on sale for $65 in 2016.
@FreedomEclipse
I just clicked that link, wouldn't have worked. The system in question is SATA only.

I had a Crucial P5 Plus fail on me, they are actually really solid drives so I was surprised. Might have been related to the kitty pushing a NAS off the shelf, though...

It failed so catastrophically, the data recovery firm I hired gave me my money back saying "no hope of recovery" lol. All I can guess is something in the pcb routed a wrong voltage to another rail...

We had month old MDISC backups, so all good.
Off to work. yea. Gotta struggle to the parking ramp, get 25-30 minutes of freedom then, eight hours of hell, I hope it isn't as hellish today but, we'll see.

How am I meant to race against a Mazda with 263 HP when I only have 75?

Seems reasonable and realistic.
2 days of training done. Worst 2 days ever. 2 days I will never get back. 9-5, so traffic sucked, the instructor is an egoistic shrimpy man that loves the sound of his own voice. The stuff we are required to do should not take 2 days. I could teach that class in half the time. It was absolutely miserable, for me.

Not to mention, I had the same effing class 7 months ago. It is a yearly requirement but, for some reason this company decided 7 months is a year? IDK. I DO know, it's effing stupid!
