steelkaneNow Thats a mod, looks awesome, were did you put the Hard drives, I like the led lights, did you make them or buy them that way.
The hard drive i added a bracket to mount them under the dvd drive bay, the led where made by myself :) They turned out well i think. Wanted to make something different that not seen much of around, being this my first PC i owned, always use apple mac computers, so this way a kinda fun project, i added some new memory since the first pics, and soon to add a GTX to the case, and water cool that to. Its a work in progress, i braided all the cables now also.
Seems like it will never end, but its sure fun. Thanks all for the kind words, it nice that others like what i tried to do.
Yer just a touch, never tried water cooling, let alone a pc :) Had to be safe, i now made a perspex shelf that covers it, so if a leak does happen my 8800 is safe :P.
You made them, cool, they look awesome, did you wire then buy jumping one to the other or did you use a pcb board.very nice mod, and welcome to the pc world.

Yer i used some veroi board to run it, and a res on each led, so that i could cut them to size to fit where i needed them, i got the idea from where i used to work at maplins, where they had these type things for £30 for a 18in length and thought that would be easy to make :)
Polaris573You didn't use the stuff in that can to "polish" your CPU did you?
Heck no :) It was just there to show the lapping i did and how flat it was, and shiny of course :) I got loads more pic in my sig link of the full lapping, plus work log of it.
