I agree Gigabyte has done a good job in designing their cases. Great full tower at its price range. Only thing i dont like is their front panels... it just donest appeal to me.

anywho back to the rig. Needs some work on wire management try mounting your HDD the other way around. Also you should take out the accessory box out. Its blocking the air flow from the front of the case

Whats that matting you have in the bottom? I gave you a 6 but I think you should of went with a c2d. and dont you mean 1650xt?

The door hinges really impressed me on that case.. to bad they stopped using the same ones on thier other cases.. the e6750 stock is faster than that amd x2 black edition stock by a little bit.

Very nice rig. The video card and RAM could be upgraded, but still nice. 7/10

Nope it's an x1550. And a core 2 duo? HA! no when the Phenom comes out i will have a real quad with real power.......lol (with a wicked smile) Sorry intel fans not into overclocking and trying to make my cpu something it's not. No offence.

This was yours was't it (www.techpowerup.com/gallery/1096.html) Yeah they are nice when i saw yours i google'd it and fell in love with it so it was deliverd monday. Its still not finshed as (when it was in its old case it was away for a few days for repair) Not that i cant do it myself the mobo was faulty and they replaced it. However im now off to look @ some new bits namley the Nvidia 8800gt as i can now afford it and i have an Nvidia chipset on the mobo with the x1550 so it dont run too well. Anyways im off to go buy stuff laterz dude. (p.s you got a kick ass little pc there enjoy it in your new case. I will with mine) lol

we wont know till the time comes if its going to really be much faster than the new intel quads.. but yeah with intel you gotta overclock for them to really shine though a e6750 is faster than the Amd x2 6400 Black 3.2ghz, at its stock speed of 2.66ghz and has huge overclocking room unlike the 6400 black which runs a bit to hot at stock.. I reviewed both chips for a build Im doing for my boss.

Atm intel rains champion with no real competition, when Phenom comes out it might take the performance crown but than only till Nov/2008 lol long ways away... meh I like getting some overclock out of my hardware since theres no harm in a little bit of overclocking and well worth the performance gain if you have an overclocking chip.

When is Phenom due out anyway? if its really going to pwn theses upcoming 45nm intel quads I may just go that route.. I'm planning on getting a new 45nm quad in January in the $400-600 price range... they do look like a winner the extreme chip can do over 4ghz on air! with only like 1.45v or something! thats about as many volts as I would put into a chip for daily usage with water cooling.

COME TO THE DARKSIDE... BUAHAHAHA. LOL

No but seriously when is phenom due out again?

Edit: it dont matter if its a "real" quad (in some peoples minds), as long as the performance is there.

Oh yes all valid comments. As for the phenom i dunno when it's out i suppose when amd pull there thumbs out there ass then we will get a date. My cpu however did not come with a heat sink as amd suggest useing something like what i had but even then it was running hot (51-c) and now after spending £50 i got a new heat sink and the temps are an unbleaveable 9-13-c.

However with all new cpus i gotta have a new mobo too and they will be based on socket F and amd have finally scraped k8 the athlons core structure. (yay!)

So my question is do we suffer cpu failure from a rushed release or do we wait untill they perfect the new architecture?

Whatch that space i guess.

Not only that save your money with the whole gpu thing agp has gone to the limit and pci-e is the way forward you can get the same card im sure for half the price in a shop. (lol). And as for the o/s stick with what ya got im useing vista and its shite im goin back to xp but only untill i can buy some games for my mac as they play all mainstream games now. (if ya really still want vista you can have mine........lol) and no joke

I voted 8/10 because:

The computer is actually surprisingly well put together. It may not have the best components, but is the computers parts really all we're voting on here? Good job.
