This modder's other projects:
System Specs:
  • I7-6700K oc'd to 4.7GHZ, Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 7 mobo, 16GB Corsair DDR4 @2133, Zotac GTX 1060/6GB oc'd 25%, 2x Samsung 256Gb 960 pro nvme m.2 drives on pcie risers, 1x Adata 512GB SSD, Windows 10 Pro build 1809, with all unneccessary backrground shiitzu disabled.
Performed Mods:
I modded the lower left mesh panel to add a USB module containing 2x USB-C and 2x USB 3.0 ports for easier accessibility, and utilized 2 spare fan mount cages and a Corsair H110i v2 AIO to construct a custom air cooling solution to always blow air over the entire mobo with 3x 140mm Corsair AF140 fans with red led's, and 8 others throughout the case in the standard positions.
Special Tools Used:
  • Lots of liquid surface prep, sandpaper, buffing pads, and elbow grease !
Time Spent:
4 weeks, a little at a time after work and on the weekends. Most of the time was for surface prep, sanding, cleaning, and waiting for the paint to dry in between the 4 coats.
This is my most recent build, using a Thermaltake TT900 SuperTower, my own custom paint job, with a digital fan controller, 2x USB C and 2x USB 3.0 Ports on the side panel, and my own custom cooling solution (in addition to the standard ones - 11x fans total), and some internal red led strips. In case anyone was wondering, I chose the name as a salute to my time spent with the 1st Armored Division, while stationed in Germany during the Cold War.
