The Radeon HD 5570 was a graphics card by ATI, launched on February 9th, 2010. Built on the 40 nm process, and based on the Pinewood graphics processor, in its Pinewood PRO variant, the card supports DirectX 11.2. The Pinewood graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 104 mm² and 627 million transistors. It features 400 shading units, 20 texture mapping units, and 8 ROPs. ATI has paired 1,024 MB GDDR5 memory with the Radeon HD 5570, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 625 MHz, memory is running at 800 MHz (3.2 Gbps effective). Being a single-slot card, the ATI Radeon HD 5570 does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 39 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x HDMI 1.3a, 1x VGA. Radeon HD 5570 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 interface. The card measures 165 mm in length, and features a single-slot cooling solution.
