The Playstation 4 Pro GPU was a high-end gaming console graphics solution by AMD, launched on November 10th, 2016. Built on the 16 nm process, and based on the Neo graphics processor, in its CXD90044GB variant, the device does not support DirectX. The Neo graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 322 mm² and 5,700 million transistors. It features 2304 shading units, 144 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. AMD includes 8 GB GDDR5 memory, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 911 MHz, memory is running at 1700 MHz (6.8 Gbps effective).
Its power draw is rated at 150 W maximum. The console's dimensions are 327 mm x 295 mm x 55 mm, and it features a igp cooling solution. Its price at launch was 399 US Dollars.
