Here are some of the first pictures of EVGA's upcoming Z77 Mini ITX motherboard. EVGA's newest creation is one of the first mini-ITX motherboards with CPU socket north of the chipset, clearly a response to community feedback. EVGA's Z77 Mini ITX is geared for overclocking, with the LGA1155 socket bolstered by an 8-phase VRM that uses International Rectifier PowIRphase driver-MOSFETs. The board draws power from 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS power connectors. The LGA1155 socket is wired to two DDR3 DIMM slots supporting up to 32 GB of dual-channel DDR3 memory; and a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot.

In terms of storage connectivity, the EVGA Z77 Mini ITX is equipped with two each of SATA 6 Gb/s and SATA 3 Gb/s ports, and an mSATA 3 Gb/s slot wired to the Z77 PCH; and two eSATA 6 Gb/s driven by a Marvell-made controller. Display connectivity includes HDMI and mini-DisplayPort. High-bandwidth connectivity includes six USB 3.0 ports (four on the rear panel, two via headers), and two eSATA 6 Gb/s. 8+2 channel HD audio (Realtek ALC898 CODEC), gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, and a number of USB 2.0/1.1 ports make for the rest of the connectivity. EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti Cooler Pictured

Launch of NVIDIA's next cash-cow graphics processor, the GeForce GTX 660 Ti, is not too far away, and we're getting pictures of some of the first AIC partner-branded graphics cards based on it. The pictures reveal an EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti Signature Edition graphics card cooling solution, complete with the GTX 660 Ti labeling.

The EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti will look not much different from GeForce GTX 670 and GTX 680 Signature Edition graphics cards by the company, as we've been told on several occasions that the GTX 660 Ti is based on the same GeForce Kepler 104 GPU as the two. It's also likely that AIC partners could recycle the PCB design of their GTX 670 graphics cards, as they're generally extremely cost-effective.

EVGA Shows Off SuperNOVA PSU-Tweaking Software

EVGA's NEX 1500W PSU has been in the news for some time now, and we've known all through, that EVGA is giving it some software features, such as direct monitoring and fan-control. The first screenshots of the said software, called SuperNOVA, were released over the weekend, and they can blow you away.

The NEX 1500W ships with complex monitoring circuitry that interface with your PC over USB. The first two screenshots below reveal the real-time monitoring features of SuperNOVA, covering intricate details such as current output power (power drawn by the system), voltage and current readings for the +12V, +5V rails, efficiency measurement, temperatures, and fan-speeds. The measurements can be plotted on line-graphs to study patterns/history. The third screenshot shows couple of tweakable features, such as +12V rail voltage, fan-speed, fan-speed curve (vs. load and vs. temperature), and binding/splitting the +12V rails. The software can also be used to enable an "OC mode," which pushes maximum power output to 1650W, provided the input is 230V AC, and not 120V AC.

EVGA Develops Sleeved PCI-E Cable Adapters for Select Graphics Cards

EVGA developed a new accessory that could give the graphics card area a mean muscular look, without putting you through the grueling task of sleeving your PSU's cables. The Sleeved PCI-E Cable Adapter accessory by EVGA lets you extend the PCI-E cables of your PSU just enough that they could appear sleeved, when looked through the side-panel window. The contact between the adapter and your PSU's actual PCI-E power connectors can be tucked away behind the motherboard. Pictured below is an adapter that plugs in two 6-pin PCI-E connectors, and plugs out an 8-pin connector. For now, EVGA could bundle the accessory with select models of its graphics cards, it's likely that the part could make it to the accessories section of the EVGA online store, too.
