XFX has prepared its newest "Magnetic Air" series of Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs with hot-swappable fans for the US market, where they were only exclusive to the Chinese region. The company has informed us that the series will be called "Magnetic Air," instead of the previously believed "MagAir." Comprising the XFX Qicksilver Radeon RX 7800 XT Magnetic Air and the XFX Mercury Radeon RX 7900 XTX Magnetic Air, these GPUs are now available for purchase in the US, with an official launch date set for June 18. What sets the Magnetic Air series apart is its unique cooling design, featuring Honeywell PTM 7950 phase-changing thermal pads that offer superior thermal conductivity. The cooling system boasts 216 ultra-thin matrix fins strategically arranged in a high and low structure to optimize airflow, while the heatsink is attached to a vapor chamber for efficient heat dissipation. Additionally, the backplate is crafted from durable aluminium die-cast, ensuring long-lasting performance.

The XFX Qicksilver Radeon RX 7800 XT Magnetic Air is available in both white and black variants, priced at $529.99, while the XFX Mercury Radeon RX 7900 XTX Magnetic Air carries a price tag of $979.99. The most innovative feature of the Magnetic Air series is its swappable fan design, allowing users to customize their cooling setup to suit their specific needs. This level of flexibility is sure to appeal to enthusiasts and overclockers seeking optimal performance from their rigs. Currently, only the black variants of the 7900XTX and 7800XT are in stock, but all Magnetic Air models are expected to be available on the official launch date of June 18 for PC enthusiasts in the United States.

iRocks, a Taiwan PC peripheral manufacturer, introduced a brand-new mechanical keyboard K74M featuring white backlight, PBT keycaps, aluminium plate and hot-swappable switches. K74M is meticulously designed to offer style and practicality for both gaming and professional tasks. Over the course of several years, iRocks has devoted countless hours to testing, gathering feedback, and engaging in development. This ongoing effort has enabled K74M to collaborate effectively with typists and gamers, ensuring the delivery of a highly satisfying typing experience.

A pre-installed set of PBT keycaps outlives ordinary ABS ones with it comes to surface wearing, and greatly enhances the durability of the keys. The keycaps are made with double shot (dual-injection) technology to prevent backlit legends from fading. Gamiac is a brand new gaming peripherals outfit - recently created by Pro Gamersware GmbH. The plucky crew debuted their product range at this year's Computex with the aim of demonstrating gaming devices that offer excellent quality, flexibility and great value for money. The headliners appear to be two mechanical keyboard models - TKL-87G (87 keys) and TKL-68G (68 keys) - both sport 19 RGB modes, Kailh hot-swappable switches and durable PBT keycaps. A variety of casing and keycap color schemes will be available at launch - Gamiac estimates that the TKL-87G and TKL-68G keyboards will be out before the end of 2023.

The young brand also presented their PX-71 super light gaming mouse at Computex - this fancy pointing device features a modular design, so users can configure between solid and honey-comb shells. An interchangeable switch system is installed on the mouse's PCB - providing the option to hot-swap out the primary (M1 + M2) buttons. The PX-71 is a wired gaming mouse with a maximum 16,000 DPI - this likely points to it packing a Pixart PAW 3335 or PMW 3360 optical sensor. Icy Dock has introduced their new ToughArmor MB840M2P-B, a PCIe adapter that allows you to connect a single NVMe drive through an open PCIe port. To do so, it makes use of 4 PCIe 3.0 lanes, as per the NVMe protocol, but that's not its call to fame, however practical that may be in older systems without any M.2 form-factor support. Rather, the ability to hot swap NVMe storage drives is. Not all drives support such a feature: you'll have to check specific drive models that allow you to remove them from operation even whilst your PC is turned on.

The ToughArmor accessory from Icy Dock features a tool-less design meant to make it easier and faster for you to hot-swap your drives (30 mm to 110 mm in length), and the chassis is made of aluminium and features an integrated thermal pad to improve heat dissipation of your M.2 SSD, thus alleviating any throttling issues. A header allows you to connect it to your PC's HDD activity gauge. It's a pretty flexible design, featuring both full-height and low-profile PCIe expansion slot covers, and as other PCIe add-in cards, it can slot in any PCIe slot from the lowest-supported links (4 lanes) all the way to a 16-lane connector.
