Arctic Makes Accelero Hybrid Generally Available Late May

First pictured with Inno3D GeForce GTX 680 iChill Hybrid, Arctic plans to make its Accelero Hybrid air+liquid graphics card cooler generally available on May 29. The Accelero Hybrid consists of a closed-loop liquid cooler for the GPU, and a cooler shroud that suspends a fan, which guides air through heatsinks over the VRM and memory chips. Heat from the GPU is dissipated at a 1U radiator, which is ventilated by a 120 mm Actic F12 PWM-controlled fan. Measuring 243 (L) x 112 (W) x 44.2 (H) mm, the net weight of the cooler (graphics card module) is 363 g; while the radiator measures 150 (L) x 120 (W) x 52.8 (H) mm, weighing 503 g.

Arctic includes heatsinks for the VRM and memory chips, a syringe of Arctic MX-4 thermal interface material for the GPU base, and Arctic thermal adhesive tapes for the VRM and memory heatsinks. Arctic did not give out a complete list of graphics cards supported, but it does mention that both NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards will be supported. Support for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 has already been established thanks to Inno3D.

Inno3D Announces the iChill HerculeZ 3000 GTX 680 Graphics Card

Inno3D now brings you the iChill HerculeZ 3000 GTX 680! The daisy chain architecture of the cooler design allows for multiple customizable configuration to suit your style. The latest HerculeZ models has 9 scythe blades on each of its fans that work actively with the Herculez Ball Bearing to keep the temperature cool under the hood at all times.

The HerculeZ is made up of a large heatsink with several large heatpipes protruding from the side. The reflective cores indicate a well lapped heatsink as the flat and smooth surface provides better surface area for heat dissipation. Looking at the underside you get a good look at the large heatsink fins which are quite dense and have been designed around the shroud as they fit it very nicely.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 Launched

NVIDIA today announced the GeForce GTX 690, the world's fastest consumer graphics card -- with a bold industrial design to match. Powered by dual Kepler architecture-based GeForce GPUs, the GTX 690 is meticulously designed -- inside and out -- to deliver the most refined, elegant and smooth PC gaming experience possible.

The surprise announcement was made by NVIDIA CEO and co-founder Jen-Hsun Huang during his keynote address at the NVIDIA Game Festival in Shanghai, which is being attended by more than 6,000 gamers from across China.

Inno3D GeForce GTX 680 iChill "Ice Dragon" to Allow Customization of Fans

When we saw the first pictures of Inno3D GTX 680 iChill, we knew there was more up Inno3D's sleeve, which another picture with all of Inno3D's products laid out, revealed. It turns out Inno3D has another [longer] GTX 680 graphics card, codenamed "Ice Dragon", which allows users a nice degree of customization of the cooling assembly, called "HerculeZ", by allowing control over the number of fans (1~3), positions of fans (six combinations possible), and even mix-matching the impeller. In doing so, it even makes cleaning the fans and the heatsink very easy. The heatsink consists of a GPU base from which five heat pipes arise, which convey heat to two aluminum fin stacks, with a total of 120 fins.

Over the weekend, Inno3D held a lavish GeForce GTX 680 launch event, in Hong Kong, even though it announced its GeForce GTX 680 products with other partners, on March 22. We know Inno3D has a custom-design liquid-cooled GTX 680 in the works, it obviously has an NVIDIA reference-design model, too; but at the launch event, Inno3D unveiled its third GTX 680 product, an air-cooled factory-overclocked model, called the Inno3D GeForce GTX 680 TwinFan.

Pictured below, the card features an in-house cooler design by Inno3D, which has a racy-looking metallic-orange cooler shroud, and two fans ventilating it. It could feature a conventional heat pipe-fed heatsink underneath. It's also possible that Inno3D is sticking to NVIDIA reference-design PCB. The cooler shroud, according to Inno3D, is detachable without much effort, which enables end-users to keep the heatsink below it clean, and maintain high cooling performance. The fans are also said to spin at low speeds, resulting in lower load noise levels than NVIDIA reference cooler. More details are awaited.

Inno3D Teases with Liquid-Cooled GeForce GTX 680, Reveals New Arctic Accelero Cooler

Like almost every other NVIDIA AIC partner, Inno3D launched its NVIDIA reference-design air-cooled graphics card. In addition to that, it also teased us with an upcoming liquid-cooled model, which is current still in on the drawing-boards, as a CGI drawing. The card is a combination of a green-colored NVIDIA reference-design PCB (probably overclocked out of the box), and Arctic's newest Accelero Hybrid cooling solution, which combines a small fan-heatsink with a liquid channel. This liquid channel is part of a pre-fitted, self-contained, closed loop. Find the CGI sketches below.

Here are some of the first pictures of Inno3D GeForce GTX 560 SE. Inno3D implemented NVIDIA's new SKU that's competitive with Radeon HD 7700 series, by designing a compact graphics card that's backed by relatively-powerful cooling. The PCB is very short (good for compact cases), and uses a simple 4+1 phase VRM to power the card. It features 1 GB of GDDR5 memory sitting on a 192-bit wide memory interface. The GTX 560 SE packs 288 CUDA cores, and clock speeds of 776/1553/953 MHz (core/CUDA cores/memory actual). Inno3D GeForce GTX 560 SE is cooled by a custom dual-slot cooling solution. This cooler makes use of two aluminum fin stacks, to which heat is conveyed by four 8 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes. The fin stacks are then ventilated by two 80 mm fans. The card has been tested at the source.

Inno3D Intros GTX 560 Ti 448SP HyperCore Graphics Card

Inno3D is among the select few with a limited-edition GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 CUDA cores, the Hong Kong-based company launched its GTX 560 Ti 448SP HyperCore graphics card. The card features an in-house GF110 board design by Inno3D, and a new custom design single-fan cooler. Based on the 40 nm GF110 GPU, it features 448 CUDA cores, and 1280 MB of GDDR5 memory over a 320-bit memory interface. It features slightly overclocked speeds over reference speeds; 760 MHz core, 1520 MHz CUDA cores, against reference speeds of 732/1464 MHz. The memory clock sticks to specifications, at 950 MHz (3.80 GHz effective). Like every other GTX 560 Ti 448, this card will be available in limited quantities, and only in select North American and European markets.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti with 448 Cores Launched

NVIDIA released its newest graphics card model specifically for the winter shopping season, the limited edition GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 cores. Not only is this a limited edition launch, but also targeting only specific markets in North America and Europe. This includes the United States and Canada in North America; and the UK, France, Germany, Russia, and the Nordics in Europe. The new card is based on the 40 nanometer GF110 GPU instead of the GF114 that the regular GTX 560 Ti is based on. This allows NVIDIA to add 64 more CUDA cores (448 vs. 384), 25% more memory (1280 MB vs. 1024), and a 25% wider memory bus (320 bit vs. 256).

The new limited edition GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 cores features clock speeds identical to those on the GeForce GTX 570, at 732 MHz core, 1464 MHz CUDA cores, and 950 MHz (3.80 GHz effective) GDDR5 memory. Since it's based on the GF110 board, this new card is also capable of 3-way SLI, something the regular GTX 560 Ti isn't. The card draws power from two 6-pin PCIe power connectors. Display outputs typically include two DVI and a mini-HDMI. Add-in card vendors are free to design their own graphics cards based on this chip, and so expect most GTX 560 Ti 448 core cards to look similar to non-reference GTX 570 ones. ZOTAC, Inno3D, EVGA, Palit, Gainward, ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI will have graphics cards based on this chip. Prices should typically start at US $289.

Inno3D Announces its GeForce GTX 570 Graphics Accelerator

Dubbed the iChill Black Series GTX 580, the card makes use of a pre-fitted water-cooling loop consisting of a full-coverage water block, and tubing leading up to a pump/reservoir/radiator unit that uses one 120 mm fan. The loop can be detached at the card's end. The iChill card is bound to feature some factory-overclocked speeds, coupled with quite some headroom courtesy water-cooling. Its exact pricing and availability are not known. Based on the 40 nm GF110 GPU, the GeForce GTX 580 is NVIDIA's fastest GPU, it features of 512 CUDA cores, and 1536 MB of memory over a 384-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface.

Here's perhaps the first picture of an NVIDIA partner-branded GeForce GTX 580 graphics card, this one coming from Inno3D. The GeForce GTX 580 is based on NVIDIA's new GF110 graphics processor, in which the company claims to have refined the GPU design from previous generation GF100 many fold, increasing performance and performance per Watt. NVIDIA's latest GPU could be closer than you think, with the company expediting its launch to the first half of this month. The Product was listed at French online store Cybertek, priced at 499.99 EUR.

Inno3D Intros GeForce GTX 465 Vapor Freeze OC Graphics Card

Inno3D released its non-reference design GeForce GTX 465 OC Vapor-Freeze graphics card. This factory-overclocked card uses NVIDIA reference PCB (albeit in green), with its own-design cooling assembly. The cooler makes use of a GPU direct-contact base, from which five heat-pipes convey heat directly from the GPU to aluminum fin blocks on either sides of a 92 mm PWM-controlled fan that spins at speeds of 1000~4200 rpm, with a rated noise output of 18 dBA. Inno3D claims the cooling solution to up cooling efficiency by 15% over reference NVIDIA cooler.

As far as clock speeds go, the GPU is clocked at 750 MHz, 1350 MHz CUDA cores, and 850 MHz (3400 MHz effective) memory, against reference speeds of 607/1215/3206 MHz. The card has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 256-bit wide interface. As with every other GTX 465, the card is based on the 40 nm GF100 GPU, it has 352 CUDA cores, and supports the latest PC graphics technologies including DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4. The higher clock speeds, Inno3D claims, up the card's performance by 10%. Display connectivity includes two DVI and a mini-HDMI. The card is 4-way SLI capable, it takes power from two 6-pin PCI-E power inputs. Inno3D did not give out and details about the card's pricing. A cheaper variant that sticks to NVIDIA reference clock speeds is also available, it lacks the "OC" marker on the box.

Inno3D Introduces i-ChiLL Black Series GTX 470 Graphics Card

In the i-ChiLL Black Series system, the water block first takes up the heat and passes it to the water flowing into it. Through the hose system, the water carries the heat to the radiator. Once it arrives in the radiator, the water passes the heat to the air via the ribs. The thinner the ribs and the larger the radiator's surface is as a result, the more powerful the cooling system. The "cooled" water flows from the outlet side of the radiator back into the CPU water block. The air flow within the water block is also important in ensuring adequate cooling. That is because the more thermal discharge the water can absorb from the surrounding material in the block, the better the cooling performance.

Inno3D Releases GTX 470 Hawk Graphics Card

Inno3D released the non-reference design GeForce GTX 470 Hawk graphics card. The card is characterized by the large iChill heatsink which uses a large aluminum fin array that's cooled by three fans. Despite its proportions, the company claims the cooler's noise level to be only around 18 - 29 dBA (max), compared to the up to 38 dBA of the reference cooler. As far as performance goes, Inno3D claims the cooler keeps temperatures up to 22 °C lower than what the reference cooler manages, around the 70 °C mark on load.

Apart from the cooler, the Inno3D GTX 470 Hawk uses a fairly standard NVIDIA reference design PCB that is green in color, and comes with reference clock speeds of 608/1215/837 MHz (core/shader/memory). Like any other GTX 470, the card has 448 CUDA cores, and 1280 MB of GDDR5 memory installed on a 320-bit wide memory interface.

Inno3D Unveils Black Freezer Series Water-Blocks for GeForce 400 Series

Inno3D is ready with a line of water blocks for GeForce 400 Series graphics cards, under the Inno3D Black Freezer series. The Inno3D Black Freezer VG-NGTX480 and VG-NGTX470. While Inno3D didn't share any more details about these, we can tell that the blocks are full-coverage, providing cooling to all vital components. The block is made of nickel/nickel-plated copper, with acrylic top (with a foil covering the top-side). Inno3D may sell these blocks individually, and/or release GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470 graphics cards with these blocks factory-fitted.

Inno3D iChill GTX 470 Cooler Drawings Surface, Company Tanks Up on Fermi Stocks

Inno3D's quest for the first non-reference GeForce GTX 470 has taken a turn with the company now planning to design its own cooling assembly. First surfaced in late March, Inno3D's non-reference GTX 470 wasn't much more than a reference-design card with green colored PCB instead of black. It also retained the reference cooling assembly, albeit slightly toned down with four copper heat-pipes instead of five.

The new cooling assembly, now in the form of CAD drawings, makes use of an elaborate aluminum fin arrays to which heat from the GPU is fed by heat-pipes. These are cooled by three 80~90 mm fans. While cooling the GPU, the three also blow air onto heatsinks over the memory and VRM areas. Inno3D plans to brand its new card the Inno3D iChill GTX 470 Hawk 1280 MB. The DirectX 11 generation GeForce GTX 470 GPU packs 448 CUDA cores, and addresses 1280 MB (1.25 GB) of memory across a 320-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface. The company did not share when it plans to get these out.

Inno3D Readies First ''Non-Reference'' GeForce GTX 470 Graphics Card

Inno3D seems to be in a bit of a hurry to bag the title of "first to come out with a non-reference GeForce GTX 400 graphics card," and is working tirelessly to get there. The company is readying a new "non-reference" graphics card, put in quotes because for the most part it is in fact a reference design. Traditionally, NVIDIA disallows its board partners from designing their own non-reference graphics cards based on newly-launched high-end GPUs, with a few concessions made for designs with factory-fitted water-blocks, or minor cosmetic changes, apart from letting their own sticker design, box design, bundle, and to an extant, pricing.

Inno3D's concession comes in the form of two things: 1. an NVIDIA reference-design PCB, which is now green instead of black, and 2. looking at the pictures, possibly a different cooler shroud design, although internally the cooling assembly remains reference design. Inno3D may roll out graphics cards with reference NVIDIA clock speeds, and also those with higher clock speeds. As with every other GTX 470 made so far, Inno3D's card is based on the GF100 GPU, it is DirectX 11 compliant, packs 448 CUDA cores, and 1.25 GB (1280 MB) of GDDR5 memory across a 320-bit wide interface. It supports 3-way SLI. At this point, there is no word on when exactly the card comes out, or pricing.

Inno3D Ready to Ship GeForce 400 Series Graphics Accelerators

Here are some delicious pictures of Inno3D's dispatch of GeForce GTX 400 series graphics cards, that are ready to ship. Come 26th March, and box-loads of these will reach markets all over. Initially inventories of GeForce 400 series cards across board partners could be low, but it is normal for a new GPU to have small inventories initially, which iron out in a few fortnights' time. Inno3D's accelerators most likely adhere to NVIDIA's reference designs.
