MSI Announces Two Mechanical Keyboards

Leading motherboard, graphics card and computer peripherals maker MSI has expanded its Gaming catalogue with its first Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. Built on the popular Cherry MX Red linear switches, the MSI GK-601 provides superb feedback and sensitive key responsiveness.

In order to deliver the highest quality standards in keyboards, each key on the MSI GK-601 is created with precision laser etching for extra resistance to wear and uses 18K gold plating to increase the stability while N-key rollover makes sure that every key-press registers. Corsair Announces Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Corsair, a worldwide designer of high-performance PC gaming peripherals, today announced the Vengeance K70 fully mechanical gaming keyboard. The new Vengeance K70 gaming keyboard is built on a rugged, brushed, aluminum chassis and features highly responsive Cherry MX Red mechanical switches under every key. The high performance switches combined with the keyboard's 100% anti-ghosted matrix, 20-key rollover and 1000Hz reporting rate provide fast, accurate input for gaming.

The Vengeance K70 gaming keyboards are available in two color schemes: silver aluminum with blue backlighting, and anodized black with deep red backlighting. Overall backlighting can be adjusted to four levels of intensity and each key is individually backlit, enabling the lighting for each key to be independently enabled or disabled. The key-by-key lighting customization allows users to highlight just the keys they need to emphasize and then save the setting directly to the K70's onboard memory. In addition, the Vengeance K70 comes with alternate colored, contoured keycaps for the WASD and 1-6 keycaps to allow additional customization.

Corsair and Team SoloMid Unite

Corsair today announced that professional eSports champions Team SoloMid have selected Corsair's Vengeance gaming keyboards, mice, and mouse mats as their gear of choice for League of Legends competition. The team will also exclusively use Corsair PC cases, power supplies, and cooling products in their training center PCs.

Team SoloMid is one of the top-ranked teams in League of Legends, the world's most played video game with over 12 million active players per day. Team SoloMid captain Andy 'Reginald' Dinh said, "We train constantly and leave our PCs running and ready to go, so stability and speed are really important to us. We've been using Corsair hardware in our Origin gaming PCs since last season and performance has been absolutely flawless." MSI Enters Gaming Peripherals Business with GK and GS Series Mechanical Keyboards

MSI strengthened its gaming product portfolio - currently limited to performance PC hardware such as motherboards and graphics cards - with addition of a new gaming peripherals line. One of its first members is the GK Series and GS Series of mechanical gaming keyboards. Pictured below, the GK Series consists of two models featuring the iconic yellow and blue strips found on its lightning and MPower series hardware. The two feature a 104-key QWERTY layout, backed by 5 profiles and over 50 macro combinations. Under their hoods are Cherry MX Red mechanical switches. MSI plans to release the two to the market, later this year.

Roccat Debuts 2013 Lineup of PC Gaming Peripherals

ROCCAT will be showing its new product developments in gaming peripherals and software at CES in Las Vegas on January 8 - 11, 2013. Some of the ROCCAT highlights at this year's show will include the brand's first-ever mechanical keyboard and the first software project for the company from Hamburg, Germany - the Power-Grid app, which has now passed Beta testing.
