Sapphire China has let out a partial teaser of their upcoming RX 5700 XT NITRO graphics card, which is nearing release and has apparently been finalized. The design shows a slightly longer graphics card than we're used to from Sapphire in recent generation (based on 8-pin port placement and component ratio in the provided image).

The card will seemingly sport a silver-based finish (and what looks like black details in the fan area), and features an RGB "SAPPHIRE" detail on the side, as well as what looks like an RGB strip alongside the PCB. From the image, it seems Sapphire will be using a triple fan cooling solution on this one. Being set in the NITRO series, it's currently unknown if this will be a NITRO or NITRO+ product.

Acer America announced the new Nitro XF2 Series monitors offering gamers superbly smooth gameplay thanks to amazingly high speed. To decrease blur in fast moving images, these new monitors include blisteringly fast 3 ms native response times as well as speeds of up to 0.2 ms G2G for the Nitro XF272 X and 0.3 ms G2G for the Nitro XF252Q in overdrive mode.

Discord is currently (maybe not so arguably as that) the most popular social gaming platform there is, and counts with millions upon millions of players (it counts some 150 million users) using its services daily. Discord thus has decided to dip its toes in the games delivery service. On the one hand, it's yet another platform for game splintering across multiple accounts and services, thus vying for app attention in our systems. On the other, it's another competitor to the juggernaut that is Steam, but comes loaded with already-implemented social features which the latter will take a long time - if at all - to correctly implement. Discord is choosing to take this time at first, with just 50,000 users enrolling in their store interface, and offering a drum-roll selection of games - which they aim to be more of a curated service than a "rolling snowstorm of titles" affair. Besides directly selling games, they'll be adding free games accessible to subscribers of Discord's Nitro service.

It's likely that we'll (relatively) soon start to see custom models of AMD's latest high-end graphics cards based on the Vega micro-architecture. The launch and availability of AMD's latest poster child has been target of continued debate and rumors of problems, ranging from low GPU yields, to low packaging yields, and manufacturing discrepancies making AMD's AIB partners' job in creating and delivering fully custom models ever more difficult. However, the end for market absence of true custom models may be nigh, since the guys over at HWBattle have managed to snag themselves a sample of Sapphire's RX Vega 64 Nitro, and the card really is a sight to behold.
