Backrest

The Atlas presents a somewhat typical aesthetic of modern gaming chairs, with a racer-inspired backrest that features both shoulder and lower-back flares. It is mostly made of a smooth, comfortable gray fabric that feels like it would hold up well over time. There are alternating black highlight strips down the outer edge, with a black Aqirys logo on the front, and Aqirys text across the back of the headrest. The backrest has a hidden magnet to attach the included Pillow, a neat little feature I haven't seen before. The backrest also includes an integrated lumbar adjustment dial which works well.

Seat

The seat is covered in the same soft gray fabric as the back, with similar striped black fabric on the outer edge. Overall it is flat with raised edges, and presents a supportive seat. The cushion feels firm, but comfortable, with plenty of depth. The seat width feels slightly narrow for my broader legs, but has plenty of room for most people. The raised edges are somewhat pronounced, but are softer and more cushioned, giving you a nice surface to lean against.

Armrests

The 4D armrests are constructed in classic fashion, with standard ability to raise, move in/out, and rotate angles. They have a chromed-plastic lever on the outside for height adjustments that gives a lovely haptic feel. In general, the armrests feel durable and sturdy. The rests themselves are slightly firm with a deep cushion.

The armrests have an interesting and unique feature that allows the removal of the armrest for replacement/swapping, due to being magnetically attached. They are relatively easy to remove, but I don't see them coming off unless you are intentionally trying to take them off. The rests snap in with an authoritative thud and feel secure.

Base and Wheels

The aluminium alloy base has a thick black powdercoat. It features a unique design with a little black inserted plastic slot to add a little flair. The Atlas package includes both traditional office wheels and rollerblade style rollers, a choice which is a nice addition at this price point.

Pillow

The included pillow, made of memory foam and a soft suede-like synthetic outer, is comfortable and features a branded Aqirys font. It also attaches to the backrest via magnets. This allows for a nice, secure position without needing straps or rails.
