The fans are controlled by a Nuvoton chip, which is commonly seen on motherboards.
Fan control on the ASRock Z690 Phantom Gaming Velocita can be accessed in the BIOS. ASRock does have fan-controlling software which can be accessed from within the Phantom Gaming Tuning software.
The ASRock Z690 Phantom Gaming Velocita has a total of eight main fan headers. One will be occupied if the included optional VRM heatsink fan is installed.
