Shape

The Chakram has a fairly typical right-handed ergonomic shape, but it differs in some key respects from others. The left side is raised, and the sides are curved inwards, which, along with the centered and only moderately pronounced hump, creates the usual ergonomic silhouette. The Chakram is much longer than most ergonomic mice, though, but not particularly wide. Additionally, the curves are somewhat restrained, which provides some leeway in terms of how to grip the mouse. Aside from the somewhat deep comfort grooves in the buttons it's not a fancy design, yet oddly comfortable right from the get-go. In some ways it feels similar to the Razer Basilisk in hand, just sized up a bit and much longer.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Chakram mostly suits palm and claw grip. It's a really long mouse, so using only fingers will prove difficult for anybody without gorilla hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Chakram very comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the ASUS ROG Chakram and several other right-handed ergonomic mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and the main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler. For a full list of all measurements taken, please refer to this sheet compiled by an esteemed community member.
