Settings

Since the mouse has no driver software, the preferred configuration can be set on the mouse. There are three different setting buttons on the bottom of the shell. The first one of these in the upper-left corner is the polling rate switch. The available values are 125, 500, and 1000 Hz, and the latter is the right side position. Next is the button control, which is basically the same 3-way switch. You can disable all side button actions by setting the switch to the middle position.

Lastly, we have the DPI and Lighting Control button, next to the sensor lens. You can set the desired resolution by cycling through the predefined, color-coded values.

Lighting

The lighting options can be changed by holding down the DPI button for five seconds, and this puts you into modification mode. Now, you can change the preset by using the left side buttons. Under the static lighting and breathing effects, you can change the lighting color by using the right side buttons. After everything is set, simply press the DPI button once and it saves your settings and exits modification mode.

There are four different lighting effects; there's a color run, an RGB cycle, a breathing effect, and simple static lighting, and you can, of course, turn off the lighting if you'd like.
