The box be quiet! uses for the Dark Rock Slim is rather compact, with the front showing the cooler in all its dark splendor on a black background. The left side has a QR code for some product information, while the back has a couple of short paragraphs to convince you it's the cooler for you.


Turning the box again, this time to the right, takes us to the product specifications with all the typical information you would expect, such as weight, dimensions, fan RPM, supported sockets, etc. Oddly missing, however, is the CFM rating for the fan. While nothing to worry about, I did find it a bit odd all the same.

After opening the box, I was greeted with some nice foam packaging, and as I have told you all before, I am a sucker for good packaging. The foam itself encases the fan and heatsink, while all the mounting hardware is in a separate box to the left.


Everything needed for pretty much every modern socket is included, and thanks to the Dark Rock Slim using be quiet!'s newer mounting hardware, it is easier than ever to work with.
