Packaging

The HAF 700 EVO ships in a massive full-colored package with an image of the enclosure on the front and additional details on the back.

One side panel lists the specifications while the other gives you a sense of the look and sheer size, even if that shot is actually slightly smaller than what you will get.

Cooler Master does not want you to open the top and have to flip the roughly 32 kg box over. Instead, there are plastic clips you'd release to then pull off the top part of the box, which reveals a standing chassis that is then simply lifted out of its foam base.

Contents

Cooler Master ships the HAF 700 EVO with a massive number of screws in a plastic tray, all neatly sorted. In addition to the classic zip ties, there's a microfiber cloth and several Velcro strip. A manual covers the many possibilities with the enclosure.

On top of all that, Cooler Master has gone ahead and included their PCIe 4.0 vertical GPU mounting kit for good measure. It ships in its own little brown box and their unique ribbon cable. This cable comes with a custom purple strip and is unfortunately still just as stiff as the one we saw in the NR200P review. A manual to help you add this contraption to your build along with some screws round off this SKU. Cooler Master actually sells this kit separately for $60, so you are in essence paying $590 for the chassis.
