Only a handful of case manufacturers offer all-aluminum enclosures. With Lian Li being the big manufacturer, the other brands do not seem to get close in terms of overall quality. While Cooltek takes a very simple approach to the I/O or power button implementation, the build quality is excellent and does not fall short in ways others do. Besides the simple interior, there is little to question here, and the Cooltek U3 features a very unique constellation by providing mATX capability in a tiny footprint. While this approach does put some limitations on the parts that may be used, it can still be made quite the powerful gaming rig (hint: Steam machine) or HTPC. Those not in need of mATX compatibility should go for the U2 or U1, depending on how much storage is required. The U3 is perfect for those who want to build a dual-GPU system or if looking for a greater choice in motherboards, as ITX can be expensive and scarce. The U3 may then cost a tad bit more than the U2, and may be a bit larger, but it still saves you money because it can house a broader range of motherboards. The Cooltek U3 also allows for a greater selection of components, and its excellent construction quality makes it a great and unique case.
