Initial Setup

While eventually we may see White and Matte Black variations of the Vengeance kit for AMD, currently the Cool Grey is the only one available for sale. No matter, the grey and black versions look similar from a distance. Once illuminated inside the case, it will be hard to tell them apart as well. Corsair has taken the often more preferred choice with just placing the logo on the memory instead of writing the brand across the center. By just having the Corsair logo, it is a decent compromise between those who prefer to show off what brands are being used for the system and those who want the focal point to be something else.

Note: The bright spots in both corners of the RAM in these pictures is because the colors were changing as the photo was taken. Still images pick up on things normally not seen. In real-life the LEDs are rapidly changing between colors with the default "rainbow" effect.
