Introduction
We would like to thank Cougar for supplying the review sample.
Cougar was founded in 2008 with gaming enthusiasts as its primary focus. As such, all Cougar products are designed with a gamer's needs in mind. Being so many years in the IT field, Cougar can now be found in almost all categories; from PC power supplies, gaming mice, and keyboards to case and cooling production. Recently, it also released a gaming backpack.
We have had the chance to evaluate lots of Cougar peripherals, and have formed an overall positive opinion of their products. With their gaming backpack in our hands now, we are about to introduce a brand new review category here at TechPowerUp. Having read about backpacks quite a bit lately, we will provide a thorough review with an emphasis on whether the Fortress is a good investment. Material quality, capacity, comfort, and price are what we will focus on.
To begin with, the Fortress is an affordable backpack for around $46, offering a number of pockets and two compartments to accommodate gaming equipment, and not only. It can be transformed from a backpack into a shoulder bag, which means it can be carried around in different ways depending on what better suits your personal preferences.
