Packaging

The DLY4000 ships in a brown cardboard box with an image of the chassis on both larger panels. The sides go into a bit of details on its features and also list a specifications table. Carrying holes make it easy to transport the package from the post office to your final destination. Our sample was opened up numerous times it seems, as there are various layers of tape on the exterior of the box.

The case itself is held in place and further secured from the perils of shipping using foam spacers. A large accessories box also comes sandwiched in the front section of these spacers. The fact that the spacers were applied incorrectly to the front and back of the case instead of the top and bottom further underscores the fact that someone had previously unboxed it.

Contents

Inside that brown package, there is a plastic container with sorted screws, which is a really nice touch. On top of that, you'll get a spacing piece if you opt to move the motherboard setup to allow for specific liquid cooling setups. A manual rounds up the accessories found alongside the darkFlash DLX4000.
