Shape

Calling the shape of the Aria XD7 inspired by the Razer Orochi V2 would be disingenuous. Rather, it is near-identical, down to subtleties such as how the main buttons are shaped. That said, even though the relative dimensions are almost a match, the absolute dimensions aren't, as the Aria XD7 is significantly larger. Much like on the Orochi V2, the left side is concave, whereas the right side is convex, the hump is centered and fairly tall, yet slopes down quite rapidly towards both ends, and the main buttons feature moderately deep comfort grooves. Due to the significant difference in size however, the Aria XD7 handles very differently. Relative to its size, the Orochi V2 is a fairly wide mouse, which applies to an even greater degree to the Aria XD7. Hence, despite being a medium to small mouse overall, the Aria XD7 lends itself to medium to large hands merely by virtue of its above average width. People with wide yet shorter hands in particular may find the Aria XD7 a particularly good fit.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Aria XD7 mostly suits claw and fingertip grip. It is a medium to small mouse with a pronounced hump and above average width, which should make it generally suit medium-sized and larger hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Aria XD7 very comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the Fantech Aria XD7 and several right-handed as well as ambidextrous mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
