Board Software
Gigabyte has a new software called "Gigabyte Control Center". This is a much needed upgrade from the old Gigabyte App Center. Here it is a one-stop shop for everything related to the motherboard, including driver updates, software updates, fan control, CPU performance adjustments and RGB control. The CPU overclocking utility is fairly generic. It allows you to set an all core frequency and voltage, but not much more. Maybe Gigabyte can expand upon this in the future and add features such as Eco Mode, just like Ryzen Master has.
Unfortunately for us while the new software looks better and the names make sense now, Gigabyte must still have a partnership with Norton Security. Just like the previous App Center software, Norton Security that is set to Auto download with all the driver updates by default. This is considered bloatware and not wanted! Computer security is great to have, but not when it is hidden and automatically installs, often without the user even knowing about it.
