Installation

The first step in installing the Montech HyperFlow Silent 360 on our AMD test bench is to swap the Intel mounting bracket that comes pre-installed with the AMD bracket.


Next remove the black plastic AMD mounting brackets on the motherboard and install the threaded standoffs. Once those are in place apply thermal paste, in this case I used Arctic MX6.


Now mount the pump to the CPU using the included screws making sure to alternate in a crisscrossing pattern. Once the pump is secure install the radiator and plug the fans and pump doing the easy cable management along the way. I say easy because there are no ARGB cables to deal with here which is nice.

Overall, the installation is pretty straightforward on AMD and Intel with no issues to speak of. With the fans pre-installed and the mounting hardware being simple and easy to work with it is a very easy AIO to install regardless of platform. I am also happy to see they took feedback seriously and opted for a four point mounting setup for AMD over the two points of contact used in previous generations.
