The MSI B360 GAMING ARCTIC performed adequately in all categories of the storage test, though it did place towards the bottom of the pack in places. It is important to note that in these tests, the difference between the highest and lowest performers is marginal or even negligible for actual real-world use. I do think that MSI can and likely will improve some of these results with future BIOS updates, particularly for M.2 performance.
All of that said, the MSI B360 GAMING ARCTIC has it where it counts: connectivity. USB 3.1 Gen2 is present in both a Type-A and a Type-C port. I can say with absolute certainty that this is more important than a marginal speed difference.
