F1 2018
Released: 2018 — API: DirectX 11 — Engine: EGO 4.0
F1 2018 is the tenth iteration of the officially franchised annual Formula One race simulator. It introduces several gameplay improvements over F1 2017, most notably the new streamlined vehicle R&D system, ability to spend development points for the next championship halfway through the current one, a new selection of classic cars, and the introduction of Circuit Paul Ricard, which is part of this year's F1 Championship calendar.
Under the hood, F1 2018 uses a refined version of the EGO Engine 4.0 from Codemasters. The game uses DirectX 11 and can be fairly taxing on your hardware at higher resolutions, in exchange for near-photorealistic visuals.
