The MSI X99A GAMING PRO CARBON has a fairly standard MSI BIOS layout, so if you are familiar with their BIOS, not much has changed. You get a fairly basic welcome screen at first, although the majority of minor changes you might need before OS installation and such are here.


A simple key press later and you're in the advanced layout for the BIOS, with a flash of colors at the bottom to let you know about the RGBs this board comes with. It would have been nice to find some controls for those LEDs in the BIOS, but I did not have any such luck. Otherwise, the BIOS is pretty easy to use, which does make overclocking a Broadwell-E CPU pretty easy as well. You'll find the other BIOS pages below:
